| Comments: Dear Mr. Cornwell, I read the Sharpe series some time back, and especially enjoyed Sharpe at sea. One of the things that stuck with me was the tradition of placing the last stitch of a death shroud through the base of the sailor's nose. Recently, I have been taking acupuncture classes (I am a veterinarian) and learned of a cardiac resuscitation point named GV 26 that is...just a smidge beneath the bottom of the nose! I suspect that the sailors discovered an acupuncture point by accident or design, (who knows), and saved several "dead" sailors that way. Google GV 26 if you are interested. Thanks for all the enjoyable reads!
