Q

Dear sir I have just read many of the comments from many of your devoted fans, and have now decided to join the bandwagon. The reason is somewhat different, albeit I will like most of your followers praise many if not all of your books, the simple truth is I never read any books, it went as far as the newspaper and then it would be the back page sports etc, Now I read every one of your books, but only your books, any other book bought for me, and by now they know not to waste their money on other authors, I guess like most we wonder what will happen next, but that is the beauty of your heroins, and so whilst you write I will read, I trust you will live to a hundred, and keep me in books till I'm 70, PS also enjoyed the Napoleonic documentary on the history channel, recently shown. My one and only question is Will Nathaniel be back? Kindest regards and Best wishes. Barry Hilling

Thank you! And yes, I do plan to return to Starbuck one day.

Q

Dear Mr. Cornwell, I am a reader of the Sharpe series and have just finished it. That is beside the point. I was reading other peoples comments about the Arthur series and how they wanted more. I understand the story is over, so may I suggest you perhaps write a few books about Merlin. or you could just suggest that people read the series of the Merlin books written by T.A. Barron. sincerely, Jake in NJ

The Arthur series is over, and I'm sorry, I'm not going back to it! Without Arthur it's Hamlet without the prince . . . .

Q

I have just bought and read Sharpe's Company because I've recently found out that my GGG grandfather was injured in the battle. It was awesome to read knowing that he would have been amongst the British Army. Keep writing, your books are great. Mary Calderbank

Q

dear sir I must disagree with you over the Starbuck chronicles, I personally feel that you have let down your many fans, it has been 11 years since you last published the "Bloody Ground" novel and I for one have become tired with Sharpe, also sir I hate it when book series aren't completed to their conclusions, I some how feel cheated, I would urge you sir to complete the Starbuck chronicles as the excellent books are rare view in my opinion, regards Paul Sutcliffe (uk)

Hi Mr.Cornwell, Just thought I would drop you a line to say how much me and my Son are enjoying your Saxon series at the moment. I am from North Yorkshire and I am a keen student of its Viking heritage so it is interesting to see how you breath life into it. We also had a trip up to Bamburgh(Bebbanburgh)Castle the other week and it was a fantastic site to see. Cheers. Graham Edwards

Q

Dear Mr. Cornwell: Call me a late bloomer, but have just discovered the Starbuck series, and am working through #3. Must say that I haven't enjoyed a series of books like this for quite some time; Love the characters and the historical setting. That said, I would like to add my voice to the throng who are asking the question: when are you planning to "complete" the series?(Despite your note regarding Starbuck's vacation) Regardless of the answer, I can say that I have become a fan and will seek out more of your work. Thank you and don't stop! Regards John Brennen

Q

I here by forbid you to sleep until you have finished the next book in the Saxon series. Then you may have a day of rest while I read it, after which you will start on the next one. Then again I suppose it's my fault for reading Sword Song so fast. Just finished it and now I'm parading around shouting at people just cos I'm frustrated that I don't know what happens next. Long story short your damn good at writing books. PS. I was joking about the sleepless nights. Oli

Q

Mr Cornwell, I am a great fan of your Sharpe books, have got just about all of them. You snuck one in "Sharpe's Fury" which I have just read. Question: where do you get the time to write all these great books? and I mean great! Kind regards, Hartley

Q

Hello Sir. For many years I have read your Sharpe and Starbuck novels. It is only recently over the past year that I have read your works; The Anglo-Saxon Stories and the Grail Stories. About three weeks ago I picked up 'The Winter King' and enjoyed it so much I went out and got 'Enemy of God' and 'Excalibur'. I am almost finished 'Excalibur' and I simply have to say these novels are your greatest works. Thank you. Ed Whelan
