I've read all the Starbuck, Archer's novels. and the Sharpe's books. I look forward to more. I especially enjoy the Starbuck's novels and can't wait to see what Nathaniel has been up to during this very long vacation. A fan, Don Rock

Hi Mr. Cornwell. I just finished The Last Kingdom and I loved it. It reminded me of your Warlord books and I cannot wait until the next one in the series comes out. I just wanted to let you know that you have a big fan out here in Oregon and that I am looking forward to your next book. I will also wish you a great, happy, and successful year ahead. : ^ ) Aaron McGrady

Q

Ya mind finishing a story before ya move him backwards in time? We got a Northern traitor who should find a wife and move west, and we still got an archer who needs to hide the grail now this dude. Finish a tale before ya continue please! Dru

Hello Mr Cornwell, I have read all the Sharpe, Grail, Arthur, series and I have just finished reading The Last Kingdom today. I have read them in about 4-6 weeks. I just can't get enough of them. Only a couple of more months now until the The Pale Horseman comes out and I'm stuggling to find something to read. Any chance you could write faster lol. I understand that they are making a few more TV versions of Sharpe and I'm looking forward to them with glee. Just wanted to say thank you for a lot of Great Stories and keep them coming! Darryl Haines

Mr. Cornwell, I love everyone of your books. I cannot seem to get enough of them. My favorite series is the Warlord Chronicles followed closely by the Grail Quest series. I find this particular time period fascinating and your descriptions of life during this time peaks my interest even more. I hope you have plans to follow up with more books set during this time period. I purchased Last Kingdom as soon as it came out and was fascinated once more at your ability to capture the setting. I am especially excited about Pale Horseman. I absolutely love this series as well. Thank you so much for providing us with snippets from your imagination. You definately have made a new lifetime fan. Jason Mackey

Q

Hi Bernard! I consider you as the best writer around the world, beside your compatriot Frederick Forsyth, and certainly, the Arthur´s trilogy have been the best reading of my whole life... there is only one problem, in Brazil, my country, there are only seven books published: Arthur and Grail books, and The Gallows Thief... please take providences in order to publish the other ones, I´m sure you will sell it a lot... Thanks and good luck!!! LUCIANO

I'll see what I can do.

Q

I've greatly enjoyed the Sharpe's stories, both books and videos, along with quite a few of your other books. The Last Kingdom has finally made me seriously take note of the author's name. I hope you are able to remain so prolific and outstanding as a novelist. No reply is needed. Just keep on writing and publishing great historical novels.

Mr. Cornwell, I wanted to tell you that I really appreciate the work you have done and look forward to every book you finish. The Starbuck and Arthur series are truly the best books I have ever read. For many years my main topic of reading was Civil War period books and have a large collection of them. That is how I came upon the Starbuck series and absolutely loved it. It brought to life in a much more tactile way a subject I was already very enamored with. I then started to collect other books you have done and have gone from one topic of literature to one author in whatever era he wants to write in, it just doesn't matter. I have now read about half of the Sharpe books and like Sharpe almost as much as Nathaniel. Thanks for the wonderful tales and insight into historical times and places that you make so incredibly clear and alive. A true testament to your work is how depressed I am when I complete one of your series. You just don't want them to end. Rob Bedlion.

Q

You need not answer this message. I just want to tell you that I saw Sharpes Rifles on tv way back and thought that was that. I spotted a book at Barnes and Noble that was authored by Mark Adkin. He praises you and I praise him for bringing the series to light.I especially enjoy the historical notes. No suggestions from me. Why change? See you in your books---Walt

George Washington: There are now several good history and "Novels of History" out that show how important George Washington actually WAS to the American War for Independance. One of the actual "History" books is "1776". The two volume Revolutionary War novel series by Jeff Sharra (Who also has done a great "Novel" series on the US Civil War {Gods & Generals & Last Full Measure}and the little known war with Mexico in "Gone For Soldiers") follows characters such as Washington, Franklin, Greene, Cornwallis, Clinton and the Howe brothers from the battles of Lexington/Concord, Bunker Hill through the siege of Yorktown.
