Incredibly vivid, sensuous writing, recreating and breathing life into the most famous ancient British warrior. Manda Scott captures not only the gore and detail of the battle fury, but weaves an incredible tale of the lands and peoples of ancient Britain and its faith and culture. The characters are driven by fate, passion, honour and ambition. Truly one of the best series of books I've ever read. You're in for a treat if you have yet to come across this 4 part series.
