Bernard – You’ve done it again. You seized my rapt attention with Sharpe’s Waterloo a few years back and since then I’ve become besotted with both Sharpe and Waterloo. In the absence of any more unread Sharpes at my local library I took out your Azincourt and it’s started all over again. I don’t know if Nick Hook makes it into any more of your magnetic volumes but I’ll read as many of them that I can locate anyway. Thank you for rekindling my interest in an England/Britain at the peak of its fighting powers and in the great events of its history.
