I’m nearly your age and stumbled on your books quite in desperation a couple of years ago when there was nothing out there by any of my favorite authors. I consider myself very lucky to have done so. As a lover of history I am extremely impressed by the research you must do. (Tarring mustaches! Wow. Never heard of that.) It is however your craft as a wordsmith that makes your stories so enjoyable.
