Mr. Cornwell,Sorry about the eye-poking comment from 3Jan.I have been reading a few Washington and Revolutionary War histories over the past few months and have heard over and over again how much the British Army disrespected American ability in the war and in truth their right to be treated as a population of Englishmen equal to British Isles Englishmen (hence the war).I missed ,but do now appreciate your highlighting such characters as Wadsworth, but almost see them as foils for the principal leaders of the American force with all their failings.As an American, I find myself gravitating more toward McClean, Moore,and the British forces in general, strangely enough. Thanks for the food for thought.
