I was surprised to see BG Peleg Wadsworth in THE FORT. He was the first Mass. state adjutant general having been apptd 13 Mar 1778 and served until 2 Mar 1782. He was also the first state AG in the US. I did know that he concurrently served as a field officer. His outline figure is the first in our HQ display in Milford of Mass. Adjutants General.
