Dear Mr. Cornwell: Familiarity with your work made me a great librarian. I have enjoyed reading many of your books and have worked my way through a few series. As a second income, I worked part time at the local library and as you can imagine, most people assume that if you work there, you must have read everything! I am a rather small young female and when men my father’s age came in asking for a good historical fiction, I would always lead them over to your section in the library and go through a few of the series to see which period of time peaked their interest the most. Through all of this I would get that quizzical look of doubt that I had any idea what I was talking about. However, a week or so later they would return saying how they simply could not put the novel down and had to know what happened next and did we have that book in. Your novels were always a great hit! I look forward to your next book in the Saxon series. I have been following the series since the first book came out when I was in college I have this feeling that I have grown up with some of the characters. I relate to Uhtred’s struggle to find where he really belongs-what he wants and what he has duty to. Happy Writing! Genevieve Kessler
