Dear Mr Cornwell, I would like to express my admiration for your artistry as a historical writer. Im just starting to read one of the book about Sharps adventures (I was never a big fan of this historical period and very, very long stories divided into a number of episodes) but I have read a couple of your books and I am impressed of your writing skills as an artist! Ive read: Azincourt, the Arthur books and the Grail Quest (except the Heretic because it is unfortunately still not published in polish language and I cannot stand waiting what will happen with Thomas Hook). Ive read the Stormchild as well but I think its not my cup of tea. Maybe the plot was a little bit naive or improbable but it’s only my private opinion. Nevertheless I would like to only say that your historical books referring to the medieval times are just marvelous. Full of detailed description of real life, characters, peoples attitudes, achievements and losses which makes them realistic and really enjoyable. Your books are the best one in this area (I ve read some more books about this period so I can make a small comparison) and only Pillars of the earth by Ken Follet (what I hope will not be a kind of dishonor for you to compare your books with his one) and its continuation gave me similar amount of reading pleasure. Im waiting for other your books I hope the polish editors will accelerate they efforts and allow me to enjoy the effects of your work very soon J. Kind regards, The reader Przemyslaw Herman
