Dear Mr Cornwell, I discovered your Arthur Series approx 10 years ago and as an avid reader of historical fiction (avid reader full stop really) I can honestly say that I use you and your books as a benchmark for rating every other author. You have a fantastic way of capturing the reader’s imagination and making it impossible to put the book down until it is finished (for this reason alone I dare not start any of your books until a Friday afternoon!)
