Mr. Cornwell, I have read and thoroughly enjoyed many of your books and, as a military historian, I find your research to be mostly of the highest order. I look forward to each new book that you write or that I discover I have not previously read and continue to be amazed at your productivity. Which brings me to The Starbuck Chronicles. While I understand that you have many other commitments, particularly the Sharpe Books and TV productions, it seems wrong to begin a series set during so momentous a time as the U.S. Civil War and not bring it to its conclusion. I sincerely hope that you find the time (or you enlist another writer under your name and supervision) to complete this story in the relatively near future.
