Mr Cornwell. Christmas 2009. I awake on Christmas morning to find various gifts from my family inside my pillow case ( my parents put them there for some reason) There’s Xbox games, Chocolate, Aftershave Clothes you name it, however a book entitled ” The Winter King” was also there. At the time I was not a reader, I had never read a book for pleasure before, and so to my parents dismay I left it on shelf for 11 months! This was my loss because on a cold night in November I began to read it and I honestly cannot thank you enough for writing such an amazing novel. After reading that I purged Waterstones of the two remaining Warlord Chronicles and the Saxon Story series and It’s fair to say these have been my best buy in my short 18 years. Me and my father constantly discuss the plots and happenings as he read almost all of your work growing up. I just want to thank you for opening my eyes to reading.I will start on the Grail Quests now and will wait on bated breath for the 6th Saxon Story (Please let there be one) Yours faithfully Matt
