Mr. Cornwell: I’ve been an avid reader of your books for a few years beginning with the first three books of the Saxon Chronicles. While waiting on the 4th book in that series, I picked up the Nathaniel Starbuck series, and so on and on… This past weekend, I saw the film “Robin Hood” directed/produced (?) by Ridley Scott. He’s definitely obsessed with time-period accuracy, just as you are. He also directed “Kingdom of Heaven”. See either or both? Anyway, if the Saxon Chronicles or “Agincourt” or both were to be made into films, I believe that R. Scott would do your books justice.
