Dear Mr. Cornwell, I have read your books with awe, joy, pleasure and sheer enjoyment. I was late coming in as the Sharpe Chronicles were well underway, but I have read your Starbuck, Grail Quest, Arthur and Uhtred books avidly. I want to thank you for all the joy that you have given me. I thought ‘Stonehenge’ was a masterpiece and I can’t wait to see how Uhtred gets on in life(but please let there be many volumes until he finally gets to share a horn with all the men he has sent to the corpse-hall. I am writing a trilogy and the Celts and Vikings loom large. I have based it on the Isle of Man. Trouble is, no-one’s heard about the Isle of Man so no-one seems to be interested. I make a tentative enquiry but get polite refusals. Anyway that’s not your problem. Once again thank you for the hours of joy. I love your books
