Mr. Cornwell. I only recently discovered, but am now greatly enjoying, your novels. STORMCHILD was especially fun in its mention of Kalamazoo MI (home since 1949) and our local Gazette, Big Pine Key (where I visited wintering friends for many years), and Key West (visited also in those years, and twice bareboat chartered a Francis 26 out of adjacent Stock Island). That aside, I understand you live on Cape Cod (home of my first wife for the last decade) and sail a Cornish Crabber 24 there (I have small boat sailed for 40 years…. tho less elegantly, and since 1980 in Macgregor trailerables, including my present 2001 26X slipped in Holland MI). It is delightful to enjoy the work of an author with whom you find something in common. May you long keep writing, so that I can keep reading your work. May we both long keep sailing our small boats.
