Don Bernardo, I have been reading your books for about 7 years now and señor you can spin a web. I got hooked with the “Archer” and didn’t know it was a trilogy so I read them out of order. Not a good thing because by the third book some of the characters were mashed and slashed. I’ve also read some of “Sharpe’s” adventures and I like the fact that he falls in love with damsels in distress at times. One of your better stories was “The Gallows Thief” fantastic, I could almost smell the sewage as I was walking into the prison, how do you do that? But I also have a bone to pick with you. I’ve read all the Saxon stories, I’m a big fan of Uhtred, I grew up with Uthred, a Thor believer, a Chicano Viking as it were. My question is, when will Uthred take Bebbanburg from his evil gutless uncle. I can’t wait for his demise whether it be at the stake or have his head chopped off with a dull sword or his intestines sliced and diced and fed back to him in little portions. The plot thickens like a New England clam chowder. Don Bernardo, just tell me it’s going to happen, si? I like your stories sir keep me captivated and in check. truly a fan, Santo
