I agree with you in my view the Arthur books are your best stories, but the ones that inspire me most are the Saxon stories as a historical wargamer this is my favourite period. After writing up my Masters thesis I don’t know how you can continue to write so much, and on such varied topics. I would assume that research is the biggest part of writing the books.
