I really enjoyed reading your books especially your Sharpe (with an ‘e’) series and the tales of Thomas Hookton and also Azincourt as I am very keen on medieaval history and also the Napoleonic wars. You certainly make history come alive. I can almost smell the smoke of gunpowder and hear the roar of cannons not to mention the clash of swords. I wish there are more authors like you. You breathe life into the history books and I can certainly relate to your characters especially Sharpe (with an ‘e’). Have you ever considered writing about the American War of Independence and the Seven Years War.I see you have mastered the intricacies of life for this period. I will certainly look forward to it. The 18th century is certainly an exciting one.

Oops, sorry Bernard. Just noticed that you have Redcoat about the American Revolution. Must try to get it. Hope there’s something bad against Banastre Tarlington as I cannot stand him. Watched the Patriot and the British Dragoon officer is modeled after him. Regards.
