I am a just-retired US Army colonel, who served as a combatant in one of our wars (Vietnam) and as a logistician in another (Desert Storm). So, I have some experience — yet I MARVEL at what the archers, infantry, and cavalry of your novels went through to “fight their wars. I have “thrust and parried” ad nauseum and have been exhausted.
