Dear Mr Cornwell, I accidentally discovered your Sharpe books after buying Sharpe’s Havoc at a Railway Station and am now working my way through them all, “though not necessarily in the right order!”. I am especially indebted to you for Sharpe’s Trafalgar which gave me the most vivid and realistic impression I have ever come across of just how bloody and violent sea-borne warfare was at the time. A cracking story, too. Congratulations and Many Thanks. Keep up the good work! Regards Chris Palin
