Reading through the bulletin board I find myself envious of the treat new readers of Bernard Cornwell have in store for them. I have read and re-read all of the books and have lived, through the Authors imagination, what it must have been like to be there at dramatic and engrossing times during our History. Not just the battles, but also the love and humanity that emanates from the pages. He has the gift of the Saxon story tellers, entrancing his audience, in the flickering shadows of wicker lamps, in their masters halls, whilst the winter wind howls and screeches just outside the walls. Thank you Mr. Cornwell. Wouldn’t have missed it all for the world : )
