I feel silly writing an email with no real content (feel free to hit delete now) but your books are fantastic. I don’t know what it is with me and the Napoleonic wars but Forester, O’Brien and you are tops. I have read others but they haven’t come close. I like the Arthur and Starbuck as well and, as a native of Massachusetts, I am thinking I need to start doing some research myself because there are good stories a plenty there to to be told. Anyway, the whole point of this pointless email is that you have very solid (in a non-creepy way) fans out there who place a value on your works far in excess of the cover price–which I am more than happy to pay. oh, and for god’s sake, please get your publisher to improve your Australian distribution–its almost impossible to get them here and hard to justify trips to the US to the wife! :-) seriously, love your books, you’re a fantastic writer. keep developing Sharpe and your other characters.
