Mr. Cornwell – Longtime fan – MANY business trips with your books stuffed in my briefcase and luggage to get me through interminable flights and hotels. Happened to re-read the Starbuck series (as I do all your books!) and again realized I’m dying to go past Antietam! Read your explanation about similarities to Sharpe – and understand – but am dying to see Blythe taken out, Potter developed, Truslow survive, ‘Pecker’ returned, Swynyard succeed, etc., etc. And it HAS been a LONG time (1996)!?!? Just wanted to put in one more vote in your consideration. In the meantime, DO also love the Saxon Stories. Hope you write for another 50 years! Regards, John Palmer Nantucket
