Sir, I would like to start this message by extending many thanks for your writings and the countless hours of fun they have provided me with. I have read almost all of the Sharpe books and I just finished Copperhead, which I must say was absolutely fantastic. I am a history buff, mainly delving in the War Between the States, and I have been incredibly impressed by the realism and accuracy of your books. That being said I would also like to say that, should you ever be in the Maryland or Virginia area, of course only if it is not too much trouble since I know you are a busy man, I would incredibly enjoy it if you might come to a reenactment some time. I am with the 13th Virginia, Company I, the Frontier Rifles (13thva.com) and I think that anybody who shows as much appreciation for history as you do should definitely come out and see one, granted one has enough time.
