This message (which does not need a reply) is just to let you know what immense enjoyment I have gained from reading your Sharpe novels. Over the years I had seen a few of the TV adaptations but, until four months ago, had not read any of the books. I have been busily putting this to rights and have just finished Sharpe’s Waterloo. You have inspired me to read up on the history of the Peninsula Wars (not something I ever thought I would want to do). A sincere, thank you !
