As an Englishman with a British education now living in New York and an avid reader who is always terribly disappointed and almost suicidal (kidding) when I finish the last book that a favorite author of mine has written, I cannot put into words the enjoyment I am getting after receiving the 1st book of the Last Kingdom series for Christmas….I am now on the 3rd one and am extremely content to find out that I have many more of your books left to read. I am a student of British history and my mother was a teacher of British history at my Alma Mata in London, Westminster City school for boys and me learning things about the battle of Hastings and the Battle of Blood Bridge in 1065, Agincourt, Robert the Bruce, the whole gamut, etc etc and to read it in a novel form…it is bliss. Thank you Mr Cornwell…keep it up. By the way…love your comment about manuscripts…I have tried to write books in the past…but alas…every idea I come up with turns about to be something I read somewhere and I remember it. Steven
