Thank you some great reads – my 14 year old told me today ‘dad there’s a new Bernard Cornwell’ – so having read the except I’m buying it at Edinburgh Airport on Monday – we’ve read them all! Really enjoyed the ones based on Bamburgh Castle my home area. My family came to Northumberland in 1087 given land to hold the Scots! Bamburgh was so part of my childhood – holidays from the south.
