Dear Mr Cornwell, I am planning to attend your event at Ely, Cambridgeshire, in October. I don’t know if you have ever been to the cathedral there before, but if not may I say that you will be in a truly unique and magnificent setting which has been used in several films, most recently Elizabeth, The Golden Age and The Other Boleyn Girl. Oh and try to fit in a visit to the Stained Glass Museum in the cathedral. It’s the only one of it’s kind in the world.(No, not cos it’s so dull no one else wants one :-))as my youngest child suggested! I look forward to (possibly) meeting you – my husband jokingly suggested that we bring along a chainmail shirt, as I wrote to you once concerning the weight of them and he thought you might like first hand experience, but I’ve managed to talk him out of it! Hope you enjoy your visit to our local City, yours sincerely, Mary Hannigan
