Dear Bernard, I keep asking myself why it took me so long to ‘discover’ your novels. I was aware of Sharpe for a numbers of years but stubbornly ignored them to my chagrin. Anyway when ‘The Last Kingdom’ came along my interest was well and truly piqued. And now, like so many other fans, I am hooked. I love the Saxon Stories and am having a hard time enduring the wait until the next installment. I loved the Grail Quest series and so finally I arrived at Sharpe. I have read them all from start to finish. Well almost. Having found myself almost unable to put them down I am now dallying because it is the last one, and I don’t won’t it to end. Thank you so much for all the hours of entertainment. Eagerly awaiting the release of Azincourt. Thanks, Martin
