Hi just a quick comment to say that, although you probably get this a lot, I am a huge fan of your books, I think you are easily one of the best authors that Britain has produced. I am a history teacher in the north west of England, and I often recommend your books to pupils who believe history to be “boring”. The soon change their minds after a read of Sharpe!! You have even inspired me to try to write my own piece of historical fiction. For this, and for providing me with hours of enjoyment visiting the Peninsular Wars, the American Civil War, and especially Arthurian Britain (the Warlord Chronicles are my favourite of your works!), I thank you!
