Hi Bernard – My wife and I are fledgling writers – she has just signed a two-book contract with Kensington in NY for historical romances set in Regency England. But that’s not why I’m emailing you. I just wanted to add my voice to those of your readers who would very much like to see more Nate Starbuck books. Having read the series twice, I enjoyed them immensely both times. One of the reasons that I reread them was that I intend to start a manuscript for a Civil War novel set in Washington DC in 1862. It will not focus on the battlefield but instead on life in that city, divided between North and South. Sharpe books are wonderful, as are all your other works I’ve read (really enjoyed the Arthur books). But I cast my fan vote for more Nate Starbuck, ASAP please! :) Randall Sykes

Hello, You have been putting out some great works in the past few years. I have enjoyed all your novels, including the Sharpe series. However you told readers years ago the Sharpe TV series had interfered with the the Starbuck chronicles. Sir I implore you, it has been years since the last novel was published, and you said “he will march again”. His boots are growing dusty, and the story remains unfinished. I love your works but am growing impatient as to his return. Sir, if do not intend finish the story please just inform your loyal readers so as we are not hoping for his return. The story is good, and if you just don’t like it anymore or have grown bored with it just tell us please. Thank you for your time, Erik

Have enjoyed all your books. Am eagerly waiting for for a conclusion to The Starbuck Chronicles. Surely you know how that war ended!!!
