Wow I can’t believe I get a chance to write to you. I’m just going to rip off some comments that have always been in my head. I absolutely just love everything I’ve read. I seem to have a real fondness for books that take place in Great Britain no matter the time frame. I love Dickens and Sherlock Holmes, but I have discovered through your books that I have a real love of British historical fiction. I can learn something while reading a wonderful tale. That being said, the Starbuck Chronicles and Redcoat were great as well. I thought the story you conceived about how Stonehenge was formed based on a skeleton discovered nearby was brilliant. I also enjoy the first person narration in Saxon Tales. Looking forward to more Saxon Tales, and keeping my fingers crossed for more Hookton and Starbuck. Can’t wait for Azincourt. The British absolutely own history’s stories of the underdog coming out on top, and this is one Yankee who admires them tremendously. Oh yeah, I’ve never read one Sharpe book. I’m saving the entire series for when you retire so I can continue enjoying your works for a long time after. Sorry for the complete lack of cohesion. I just had some things I wanted to say. Please don’t feel obligated to respond. Mike Higgins Cincinnati, OH
