Dear Bernard Cornwell Thank you! your books are wonderful, please don’t feel the need to reply to this within a week, I’d prefer you to write, so I can read. I think I am correct in saying that I have read all your books, from the americas, to ancient/medieval/georgian England (and France) Amongst my other hobbies are computer games (RTS, or real time strategy), and I am horrified by their accuracy. In “imperial glory” a musket fired 50 yards, and a 12 pound cannon 120 yards. In “medieval total war 2” a crossbow delivered the same fire rate as a longbow. Please, should a company such as activision, Sega, or god forbid EA, approach you for advice, please be forthcoming-for the sake of my blood pressure if nothing else! Soon (November) a game called empires Total War will be released, and I truly believe your influence would help educate many, and at last provide a chance for a realistic game. Please expand beyond books, I can only read those once (except Sharpe’s enemy) and consider dictating to these manufacturers of games, they really need an Uhtred, and less “balancing” pious bastards! Many Thanks from an avid fan Mr Josh Flack
