Sir, I would like to take the time to express my thanks for the 14+ years of enjoyment I have had reading the Sharpe books along with the Starbuck an the Grail books. While serving in Iraq in 2003, I requested a copy of Sharpe’s Rifles to be included in a package from my family. After reading it again, I passed it on to other soldiers in my platoon. All who read it enjoyed it, even the ones who did not normally read for pleasure. My mother, who was 67 y/o at the time, read Sharpe’s Rifles and liked it.
