If and when you write a new Book about Sharpe. I thought It might be a nice touch for anyone who’s read the books from the start of the series and particularly SHARPES TRIUMPH; for a situation where Wellington comes across a certain large ruby, to which the the owner might remark same about the mark on it. Then some sort of personal reaction from Wellington when he remembers a certain “Pebble” from the battle of Assaye, and so think of a certain rouge. I know and understand what you state about receiving plot ideas. However I’m assuming such a little aside cannot be classed anywhere near a plot. I categorically relinquish any rights to it etc etc. I just thought It may tickle any fans of the books. Eryk
