I have been a avid reader for a number of years. I started reading your books while I shared a room with a friend whilst serving in the Army in Germany. As a Soldier, the Sharpe books seem to ‘fit in’ with many of the ways the British Army still work in the modern day. so much so, many people I have met aspire to be a Sharpe. I have now however passed on the ‘Cornwell’ bug to my Step Son who since the age of 13 has been glued to your books. So much so that every time my wife orders a new book, its disappeared and comes back already read. what has had me so intrigued to your stories is the believability of the characters, both fictitious and factual. I believe you have invented the TARDIS, gone back in time and studied all your characters from knowing them personally. That is the believability of each individual. the sheer unromanticised accounts of everyone makes me wonder where you are going next. Robin Hood? King Harold? William the Conquerer? I await with trepid anticipation Kind Regards, Karl Rhodes
