Mr. Cornwell, I’ve read The Starbuck Chronicles so many times that I’ve had to replace the books in my library twice due to wear. I go to your site periodically and have read your explanation as to why you stopped the series and I understand why you did so. I’m not above begging….PLEASE don’t leave Major Starbuck on the fields of Antietam. I know I’m not alone when I say there are tons of us out here dieing for more adventures of the intrepid displaced Northern. Please end our torment and return to the series. Thank you for the books you have written. You bring enjoyment to so many. Monetary considerations aside it must bring you great joy knowing you provide escape and yes enlightenment to so many through your writing. Reed Shope
