Loved Sharp! Bit of ‘im in all of us. I hope you’re going to tell rest of story. You know..after Waterloo Wellington introduced to him some people from the east India company with a good job offer. How he turned it down and went back to his love and farm in France. How one day the now reputable barrister Frederickson’s showed up and told him one his fellow lawyers was looking for Richard. He told him Jane was now desperately looking for a divorce… Frederickson said he’d represent Richard, and asks him for the note Jane’s old dead boyfriend gave him. Made a deal with Richard that he would get back his ten thousand guineas and then some. The deal was ten thousand for Richard, anything over they’d split. When Richard got back from India, Frederickson had settled the divorce and got 500 Guineas for Richard…Richard of course stated, You must have wiped you a.. with page in that law book that would have got me all me money” Frederickson replied, “Richard the victory over Bonaparte didn’t begin with Waterloo, it began with the first skirmish in Portical…. Turns out Jane’s estate has prospered…Her Uncle Simmerson and cohorts have even built a large prosperous Mill on the land, and of course the Manor house has been renovated…After the court doings proving Richards claim to ownership….Simmerson partners settle for 35,000 Guineas…Richard gets his ten thousand, and he Frederickson split the additional of 25 thousand settlement…With the now somewhat wealthy Pat Harper they invest in that new fangle technology called the railroad in The United States… But of course you already know all this….so I’m looking forward to you writing this all down and letting the rest of us know the details… In any event please feel to use any of the above..It’s a gift, and I’ll make no claim if you use any of it… I’m obliged to you sir, for creating such a wonderful tale… Best Regards, John V.
