I thoroughly enjoyed your first two Saxon books and look forward to reading the next two. They were well written and entertaining, but best of all, it was very refreshing to read a book with the view that religion is a crutch for the feeble-minded. I largely hold religion in contempt, more so with each passing year as the fundamentalists find new ways to tear my country (USA) and the world apart. I don’t know if that was your intent or even a reflection of your own views, but it seems to be a recurring theme in the other books I’ve read so far: Scoundrel, Gallows Thief, and the Sharpe novels. Whatever the case, I will continue to read your books. Thank you, Josiah
