Hello Mr Cornwell, I would just like to thank you for hours of enjoyment through reading the Sharpe series. I moved to southend-on-sea, Essex from Ireland when i was five years old and I am now 23! I grew up on the Sharp television series and only recently started to read the series, starting with Sharpe’s eagle as where abouts the television series started. I am currently on Sharpe’s Enemy and continually enjoying your imagination’ creation of Sharpe and co, so much so my girlfriend has started to call me SHARPIE! I don’t know why I’ve decide to post you a note, i suppose i may well be human instincts to want to thank someone when they have given so much enjoyment to you but also maybe because I’m afraid of one day the I’ll run out of Sharpe adventures to read and hope very much there are a few still to be written.
