Mr. Cornwell this is the first time I have ever written to an author or really anyone I dont know personally for that matter. Im 23 years old from the great state of Maine and currently serving in the Navy; I enjoy history very much and would like to be a history teacher one day. Particularly Im a fan of ancient and medieval history which is why I suppose I like your work so much. I have never been into reading a great deal at all in my life, comics were my thing. My mother used to have to pay me to read books as a form of motivation. Since I first read your book the Archers Tale or Harlequin as you prefer in August 2006 Ive finished that series finished the Warlord Trilogy started on the Saxon novels and even read a Sharpe book. My favorites have to be the Arthur books your detail and knowledge helps me envision the life and time of the characters. The Sharpe novel I did read and I will read more was awesome in its own right, but to me the medieval times were rich in history and plenty of action. I noted you are continuing the Saxon novels and I hope to enjoy more of them. It is also my hope that you have continued success and for my pleasure a few more gripping tales of the ancient and medieval times. Justin Webb
