Just reading through Sharpe’s Fury at the moment…I started it back in December, but my wife had our first baby shortly after I started and I never seemed able to find time to pick it up again….But it is a good read even after this amount of break. What I’ve noticed is that most of your recent Sharpe novels have been quite self contained….and as they are being slotted in where the timeline has space, there is little opportunity to link them into the story as a whole. What I would like to see is a good story arc involving some classic Sharpe characters…maybe a three novel story where Sharpe exacts revenge on the only loose end from the series….
