sir, I have read all your books to date, and I have found them really very good. I served several years in the merchant navy and reading was a primary form of entertanment, [‘cept in port. I am now in my sixties and I still read just as much. So I would just like to say thank you very much for giving so much pleasure over the years, I think that your “Saxon Stories” are the best yet, and I wait with the quiet certainty that the next one will be as good if not better than your last, many thanks, your work keeps me quiet and content for hours, that pleases the wife, she also likes to read but not the kind of book you write.
