Hello Mr Cornwell. My name is Michael Aguiar, I live in Deltona, Florida and while looking for books on King Arthur I found your “Warlord Chronicles”. First let me start by telling you I used to read books very avidly. But after some time I found myself bored with them and ventured into the Graphic Novel form. But after reading the Warlord Chronicles and after that the Saxon Stories (all I could find so far) my love for books have been renewed. I’ve read several books since and believe it or not, your work inspired me so much that I started working on a story myself (following your guidelines I wont say about what..Laywers right??) but I was fortunate enough to have a couple of people already interested in the story.. I’d like to send you a copy of the book once (if ever) get finished because I attribute any success that this little endeavor might have to your books and how much they have inspired me. With all that said I have to give you even more congratulations because the research process involved in writing a story is crazy, so for all 3 Arthur books I would imagine you had a TON of notes everywhere! I never imagined it would be so much work! But Im enjoying the trips to the library, finding the maps and reading about that time period. I will never be able to tell a story with such details as you do but I will give it my best shot and hope someone reads it.
