Mr. Cornwell: I have just finished “Waterloo” and “Sharpe’s Devil”. It was with great reluctance that I obtained these last two “Sharpe” books, since I knew this was the end of a long march for Sharpe and Harper. While working my way through the Sharpe series I also read “The Nathaniel Starbuck Chrnicles” hoping for another of that series. You, Forester, and O’Brien have made history come alive for me. Now, I will pick up your other works while I await another Starbuck or Sharpe book. Thank you for the many hours of enjoyment, and perhaps in the near future I will start rereading the Sharpe series from the beginning, with the hope I’ll be able to fit in your newest. Again, thank you. William R. Morton
