Dear Mr Cornwell, I realise you must receive thousands of letters praising your work but feel that I must contribute to that hefty pile! I must say I thoroughly enjoy the Arthur and Saxon stories (am eagerly awaiting the new one) and that I did a comparative essay between your Winter King book and Mary Sutcliff’s Sword At Sunset (my own choise of books) for my English Lit A Level coursework. The comparison was between the religious aspects in the book and was extremely interesting. That was four years ago now and I am still as hooked on the Arthurian legends as I ever was. Thanks for such great reads, long may they continue! Lucy Holmes
