As an avid reader of all your work, I suffer badly from ‘Cornwell withdrawal’ every time I get and read your latest work(normally done within about 48 hours) and know I have at the very least several months to wait for your next one. Apart from Simon Scarrow and Conn Iggulden are there any other authors you feel I would enjoy while waiting for your next masterpiece ? I’m not trying to flatter you(although deserved…lol) but I know I share the enjoyment of millions of other readers and the view that you are certainly the foremost creator of historical novels in modern literature. I look forward to enjoying many more novels to come regardless of which series they involve since they are all excellent.

Lastly, is there any chance that one of your novels/series will be made into a movie? The Sharpe series was without doubt an excellent production but was obviously made under a restrictive budget. Not that I would like ‘Hollywood’ to spoil them(as they so often do) but a full length movie (with cast of thousands…lol) I have no doubt would be a great hit at the box office. Best regards and MANY THANKS for hours of enjoyable reading and for brain stimulation- including a wider interest in the history of your ‘era’s.
