I just finished reading all of the Sharpe books and the two short stories. I wish I had found these when they first came out. I couldn’t put them down. I am rereading Sharpe’s Eagle and Sword. I just ordered the Starbuck Chronicles and will start on them this week. Being from Virginia, I am looking forward to them and also to follow up on the off-spring of Richard Sharpe. I am so glad that you gave him a happy ending to his life. I was worried through the whole series that since he was so much of a rogue, you would kill him off in the end. After 21 books and 2 short stories, I became rather attached to Richard. He would have made a rather fine American if you had brought him to the colonies.
