Dear Bernard, I would just like to say that I have been reading your books over the last 6 months now and I am a huge fan. I was always a little hesitant about the Sharpe Novels (what a mistake that was!) I started by reading the Grail Quest which I found riviting, I have since read some of the Warlord/Arthur stories which I also found most excellent. And guess what in a very relaxing 2 week holiday with my wife and young daughters I found my self voraciuosly ripping through the adventures of that scoundrel Richard Sharpe. I can’t believe what led me to avoiding them all these years. Sir you are a master and I salute you. Mister Sharpe is a belligerent, stubborn, vicious and simply brilliant.
